Red ruby, fine red ruby, Burma red ruby is rare because it is the reddest red gem on Planet Earth. It’s the purest natural red gem ever to come out of the ground. Burma has been the source for these best of the best fine red rubies.
We will say, without a touch of exaggeration, that we feel fortunate to have this gem, a gem ruby of Burmese origin. Superbly cut, bright, brilliant, pure, true ruby. I wish we had two of these gems in this size. I wish we could get Burma rubies easily. We can’t. Acquiring one, a superb Burma ruby of a specific size is near impossible. The ruby is the fire part of this ring.
Now to the Ice
Snowflakes are beautiful. They each have six points and in the right temperatures, under full sun, those six points make them sparkle like crazy. Our Fire and Ice ring has two rows of diamonds surrounding the center Burma ruby. Like a snowflake, there are six brilliant white diamond “points” in the inner row and another six smaller diamonds in the outer row. Together they sparkle beautifully like a snowflake in the sun. The diamonds are the ice part of our story.
Two other details: on the east-west sides are three additional small diamonds, then in the center, we have put a gold halo around the ruby. A bit unusual, yes, but when you try it on the halo glows, the ruby shines, the diamonds sparkle. The effect is pure magic. You’ll love it forever. We have just one; don’t wait.
