This is honey gold and our artist has stretched the truth a bit, the east-west sides have six diamonds per side, while the north-south sides have five diamonds on each side. The human eye can pick this up. It made the artist happy, it would drive bees crazy. They are strict in their honey hive construction, they don’t mess with varying lengths.
The piece, however, with artistic license is beautiful. The gem citrine in honey gold is done with reverse cutting on its pavilion faceting, making it dazzling. And while we have a similar one with bigger diamonds for more money – they are both beautiful.
