Airline Pilot’s Full Circle Rainbow Sapphire Necklace

We land-bound Earthlings know rainbows as a half circle, landing at either end on a distant hill out beyond the trees. Pilots sometimes can see rainbows as full circles if they are high enough in the sky. Pilots have a front-row seat for the full magic of the Earthly heavens. Mountaineers have a clue to the existence of circular rainbows, but none of the Earth’s mountains are high enough to allow seeing the full circle.

Our Pilot’s Rainbow Necklace is pure magic. The colors are not stripes, but 16 colored sapphires, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet, marching around the circle. The size of our necklace is 16mm, a bit smaller than a dime.
