Jewelry Exchange / Return Policy
Your satisfaction is always guaranteed. Everything we show and sell comes with our 30 day return privilege for a full refund or exchange*. And on all Christmas purchases, returns and exchanges are accepted through January 25th.
*Custom-made items and personalized, engraved items are return exceptions.
Our Exchange/Return Process
Items can be returned in our Portland, Maine store or by mail.
If sending by mail, give us a call for a free insured U.S. Post Office return label. Once we receive your returned item and it is accepted, your refund or new item will be processed in just a few days.
If you need a newly purchased Cross ring sized, we give it top priority. Once received, your ring will be sized in our shop and sent back to you within a few days.
How to Prepare a Return
To return an item to Cross Jewelers by mail give us a call for a free return shipping label.
1.) Fill Out The Exchange/Return Form
Enclosed with your order was a yellow packing slip with exchange/return instructions. If you do not have that form you can print our exchange/return form. Please fill out the information including a phone number in case we need to contact you.
2.) Package Your Item
Place item in a jewelry box or something of similar strength. Place jewelry box inside a secure cardboard box. Put this first cardboard box inside a second larger cardboard box and affix your return label. Include in the package the exchange/return form.
Using two cardboard boxes provides enhanced security for the jewelry in transit.
If you are providing your own return label, for security reasons, do not write Cross Jewelers anywhere on the outside of the package. Instead use:
