Blue Oasis
You’re wearing a tan hat, tan shirt and shorts. She, similar, although she has a long skirt. Your plane ran out of gas or had some mechanical issue, either way you landed behind a five story sand dune. The two of you climb out of your 1930s biplane and looking to the south, you see an oasis, so of course, you head off in that direction. What you find is not a mirage, but rather a real place with palm trees, a nice restaurant, and the prettiest blue water swimming pool you’ve ever seen. Your waiter tells you they had 2 inches of rain last week, everyone is quite happy.

Why We Love This Piece Part One
Rain is essential. Rain is fundamental. Too much is not good. Just enough…awesome. These rain drops are perfect in shape and design, and in gems capturing the spirit and promise of life-giving, life-sustaining rain. The shape is like a rain drop. We’ve added though, a slightly indented curve near the top. It gives the drop a sensual curve. A big deal? No! Important? Yes! It’s one small touch that delights the eye. Look again. Is a rain drop sexy? Not usually. This one though, has extra appeal with that little indented curve at the top. You can tell the designer actually cared.
Why We Love This Piece Part Two
The part two of why we love this piece, natural blue sapphires graduated in size from tiny and light pastel blue, to larger sizes progressing to a deeper blue at the base…the look is awesome.
The Rain Drop Earrings
The earrings: post is set high near the top point of the rain drop, which allows the piece to drift off the edge of the lobe. It’s a clean, neat sophisticated look.
