Moments of Morning, Citrine and Diamond Bracelet

This is the golden hour of the day. I wait by my window for sunrise. The sky lightens and the land darkens. Trees go black. Almost every morning a shadowy figure appears on the road below with two dogs looping around the fresh water marsh. The man appears black, one dog is dark and the other is white. The white dog shows clearly in the early morning light. The man and the dark dog are almost invisible in the shadowed light.
So what is here at this moment of morning… my picture window on the second floor of a house on a hill looking east across an open expanse of ocean. The window is lit with the light of the rising sun and there below the white husky trots through the morning shadows. The man and the dark dog are virtually invisible. Yes, both dogs are on leashes and trot smartly in the early hours of dawn.

Everything She Touches is Magic

I do not know her name. I’ve only talked with staffers. The staff is really sharp: well-dressed, well-spoken, and remarkably well-informed. They tell me she selects or designs everything. I’ve never seen a collection like hers. The sensitivity, the balance, the harmony, and above all her gems, their cutting, their brilliance, and their colors are amazing. Her designs speak to a secret inner space and place near a woman’s heart. She understands something I, as a male, can only say I’m left in wonder with a deep sense of respect.

The Wear Care Card

We will enclose her caution card with your bracelet. I respect it because she is a straight shooter. She creates things that are only things that she would love and wear and it shows. The card says:

Your Bracelet
Please be careful,
the bracelet is flexible only
to about a 45° angle
or an opening of about 1″.
Plenty enough to slide your wrist in or out.

Go slow Be gentle! It works great.

The last line of the caution card says, “It works great.” I trust it is absolutely true because in the four years we’ve worked with her company, everything has turned out amazingly right.
