A dozen times a summer, when I’m out working on the land, I look up and there is a schooner 500 feet offshore. Not three or four miles out, but right there, sailing by. It’s a gift of grace, beauty, and harmony that this goddess of the sea, with its white sails as free as the wind, is sailing by.
Who knows the destination of all onboard? Who knows what hopes, wishes, dreams, and desires will be fulfilled on this voyage? Who knows what adventures await?

Worth the Wait
Awesome. Dazzling. It takes us a fair amount of time to acquire three perfectly matched oval diamonds. We can make only a few of these Schooner rings each year. Each one is worth the wait.
With its big diamond look, this is an impressive ring. Three bold oval diamonds and little round diamonds east and west traverse the entire top of the finger with brilliant shimmering, sparkling, scintillating white diamond light. Low profile, hugs the finger close, comfortable, natural. This is an amazing safe, solid, secure ring.
Why We Love the All-Diamond
Schooner Ring
The first thing you’ll notice about this ring is its presence. It has the look of a much larger diamond ring without feeling heavy or overwhelming. A beautifully proportioned oval center diamond is framed by two impeccably matched oval side diamonds, while graduating round diamonds flow down each shoulder. Together they create an uninterrupted stream of brilliance across the finger, yet the ring remains graceful and elegant.
One of the best-kept secrets in diamonds is that oval cuts face up noticeably larger than round diamonds of the same weight. Their elongated shape covers more surface area, creating the impression of a significantly larger stone.
Just for fun, I carried this ring around our store and asked several coworkers to guess the weight of the center diamond. Most guessed somewhere between one and one-and-a-half carats.
The actual weight? Just 0.71 carat.
Every guess was high.
That’s the magic of a well-cut oval. It gives you the visual impact of a much larger diamond while keeping the ring balanced and comfortable.
Each Schooner Ring is made individually, so the exact diamond weights will vary slightly, but the overall design remains the same. Most examples finish at just under 2.00 carats total weight.
