The Snowy White Egret, A Symbol of Peace Necklace

We delight in the pose, long-legged birds carefully stepping, long necks, long beaks staring intently at the little fish swimming around. Egrets in the saltwater marsh, pure white egrets wading in the outgoing blue water as the tide returns to the sea.

We sit at our granite dock looking out across the 10-acre marsh waiting for the egret to spread its wings and fly. Why is this moment so magnificent? This Egret was hand-carved in Indonesia from a 15,000-year-old Wooly Mammoth tusk. Ivory is legal in America, except we can’t ship to CA, HI, IL, NY, NJ, NV, VT, and Washington DC. They have laws and we honor their laws. The Mammoth tusk was found in the Arctic tundra. The necklace is a circle of silver with the currents of the retreating tide and 3 big brilliant blue topaz in the stream.
