A Magical Twist This is a True Story Blue Sapphire Ring
We had a bracelet, a simple gold bracelet – plain polished surface, the gold swept around the wrist like a huge narrow wedding ring. This was in the early days of the internet and our first foray into a website. The photo we took, clearly to our jeweler eyes, looked just fine. We could see the reflection in the surface was just a reflection. It was a popular bracelet – in the store we sold many. On our website people bought them and returned them with a note that said, “Based on the photo I thought it had a twist in the design…the bracelet was plain polished gold.” Back in the 90s we were so excited about having a website and it was so complicated to change anything. We never got around to updating the picture. This ring actually has the twist that everyone thought they wanted when they saw the bracelet online. Here’s the good news, the ring possesses the magical twist of our 1995 bracelet web photo. While our bracelet did not have a blue sapphire in the middle – this ring does. Simple sapphire solitaire with a twist. Bright brilliant blue, which shows in the shadows because we deliberately choose two shades lighter in all of our sapphires.
