Deep blue azure seas
Cotton candy clouds
A dream of golden atolls.
“Suddenly, from behind the rim of the Moon, in long, slow-motion moments of immense majesty, there emerges a sparkling blue and white jewel, a light, delicate sky-blue sphere laced with slowly swirling veils of white, rising gradually like a small pearl in a thick sea of black mystery. It takes more than a moment to fully realize this is Earth…home.” – Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut (1971) and 6th man on the Moon.
These Blue Origin earth-from-space dreamscapes are spectacular. Choose your favorite on-line. Stone is lapis with a very unique cloud-like veil floating through the stone.
Shown below is a close-up view of one of our Blue Origin – Earth from Space lapis stones. Each is a unique blue planet dreamscape.
Lapis is a rock comprised of three main minerals:
The ocean is blue lazurite, the cloud-like veil is calcite, and flecked within many of the stones is pyrite which looks like land or islands. Pyrite is also known as “fools gold” because of its metallic yellow gold-like color, it looks like gold.
The Blue Marble
Last night I listened to a National Geographic Special as seven astronauts talked about their days in space on the space station and being 250 miles above the earth and looking back on earth and its blueness, how much of earth is water and how blue it is.
Each astronaut expressed the deepest love and affinity for our blue planet. As they talked with their wishes for earth and their wistful comments about home, I thought of how popular our Blue Origin pieces have been and how quickly people have snapped them up when they are available.
$1,000,000 or a Few Hundred Dollars
Bezos or Musk may offer to fly us to the moon someday for a million dollars, or for a few hundred dollars you could have one of our Earth from Space Blue Origin pieces.
Be the First to Know
For many of our items, we are always preparing year round for Christmas. Blue Origin jewelry is like a crop, or school of fish, that when gathered or caught we may have 25 or 50 available. We find most Blue Origin items sell within 24 – 48 hours after we send an email to all our newsletter friends.
Sometimes we have one group a year, sometimes two. Be sure to sign up to be on our email list. Our email friends are always the first to know about new products or when new groups in a collection are finished.
If you don’t catch one of these Blue Origin pieces now and we sell-out, you and we are simply waiting for, “the next school of fish” to swim by. Always our email friends are the first to know.
