The numeral 8 (on its side) is the symbol for infinity, two 8s, of course, becomes the double infinity symbol. The prices for these two pieces came remarkably close, but we rounded down to allow this price to become an echo of the identity of the piece. And yes, I’m sure before we started explaining, you already saw that we were playing with numbers and trying to be clever.
