The 1960’s

I bought my first car in the in the 1960’s. U loved the car. Then I did something to it that haunts me to this day. It was a white American Rambler. I put a black racing stripe on it. That looked great. I drove it for several years that way. It was cool, then I did something that was not cool. I put bright colored stick-on flowers on the car. They lasted less than a month before I removed them. Things returned to normal.

What I learned was a single color or two can be quite stunning. Too many colors simply don’t work. A lesson from the 60’s, never over-do anything.
