Toasting Marshmallows Burgundy Garnet & Diamond Necklace

I live by the shore, 20 minutes from the store. My house is 100 years old. It sits 250 feet back from the ocean and is on a hill 50 feet above the cliffs and sea. I have a fireplace with a brick hearth and some fancy fruit wood carving from Turin, Italy. A fire on a cold winter night is magical. Add a snowstorm and wind and waves striking the cliffs below, and it’s pure gold magic. There are moments in an evening when the fire settles back, and the coals glow red, and as we all know, it’s perfect for toasting marshmallows. Everyone knows those perfect marshmallow moments.

So, this is how we symbolize this piece. The single diamond at the top is a marshmallow. The big red garnet is the coals, the embers glowing. The five-diamond sweep across the bottom is the snowstorm, and it’s also the wild waves at the shore creating white froth and foam.

Why We Love This Necklace
