Trip Line, Anchor Secure
My Dad used to anchor his motorboat in island coves with a big 25-pound navy anchor perched at the edge of the bow with a long pull line. He’d push the boat swiftly off shore. When he had the boat where he wanted it, he’d pull his trip line, drop the anchor exactly where he wanted it, and secure his rope with a small anchor on shore. As a kid, I watched with fascination for the push, the boat backing out into the cove, the pull, the splash, and a boat safely secured on a falling tide.

Any kid that spends time with a boat comes to respect the anchor, for it represents life, security, assurance, reassurance, solidness, and safety. It is your literal lifeline in the sea and your metaphorical lifeline in life. I could tell a hundred anchor stories. If you’ve hung around in boats, you have your own anchor stories.
I’ve never seen anything like our Trip Line Double Diamond Anchor necklace. Two diamond-encrusted anchors float along a golden trip line. If your love in life is your anchor in a sea of uncertainty, you should give her this necklace.

Why I Love This Necklace
My dad passed away 20 years ago. The second largest thing of his that I inherited was his 25lb Navy anchor. I have it on a rock in front of my house with several other anchors. I cherish the anchor for the memories of all the boating excursions we went on. This necklace, with its diamond anchors, reminds me of my days standing on the shore watching my dad.
