Magician’s Air Levitation Floating Diamonds

Look closely. Each diamond has a tiny laser-drilled hole through which we have threaded a fine platinum wire – linking the diamonds together. The result – the diamonds shimmer and twinkle in the evening light. This is a new approach to diamond design; the diamonds seem to float in invisible settings. The effect is mysterious and dazzling.

One of the challenges in designing diamond jewelry is the perceived thickness and heaviness of the metal used to hold and secure the gems. Our new “Whisper Link” setting technique makes precious metal setting virtually invisible, allowing something as delicate as a necklace to seemingly float. The diamonds shimmer, sensitive to the slightest touch or breath of air.
