Hemmingway moved to Paris in 1921, during the Roaring 20s. He loved and loathed Joyce, Fitzgerald, Picasso, and many others. It’s a curious combination, but that’s human nature. His most famous quote was, “The way to make people trustworthy is to trust them.” Years later, he wrote A Moveable Feast, about his time as a journalist and writer in Paris in the 20s. The book was published posthumously in 1964.
The Ring
The ring is 18k white gold. The center gem is a round .71-carat blue sapphire. The two diamonds =.15 carat total weight, and 14 diamonds. =.25 carat total weight. The ring is decorated with scrolls and swirls in the spirit of the 1920s Art Deco period. The three major gems are halo set for smooth, easy wear, and low profile. Great lacework detail on the interior.
